Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a Indian actor, singer-songwriter and musician. Her main focus is Tamil as well as Malayalam movies. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam and Tamil debuts as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah comes from an Anglo-Indian family background. She was the daughter of an attorney from the Madras High Court attorney. Her younger sister is an assistant researcher from Belgium who is employed in Leuven. Jeremiah comes from Chennai. She went to National Public School, and after that, she graduated Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to learn the piano classically in her 8th year. In her twenties, she became a part of a group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the base of her early singing and music composing career. At her university, she was also a theater artist and performed in stage shows organized through The Madras Players. She was the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her theatre career with Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. The year 2006 saw her appeared in a brand new advertisement for Leo with actor Shiva. The year 2006 was the time she appeared in a show that was shown on Podhigai. She's performed all across India. She was a part of a short performance in Kanda Mudhal which was the 2005 climax. After she rendered a song for Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu the director asked her to join in the role of a lead female characters in his next project Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea plays Kalyani in this film, that is a re-imagining of James Siegel's novel Derailed. The husband of the character is involved in an affair with her and she's blackmailed. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani following Simran Shobana Tabu and other actresses were approached. It was first released in early the year 2010. The film was released in early 2010. for a role as Venkat Prabhu, who starred in Mankatha. Mankatha came out on the 11th of August, 2011. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic flick in 2013.
