Kari Wuhrer was born April 28th, 1967. She is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer first made her acting debut in her teens. She was best known for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for the role of Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three siblings. As a child she sang in clubs and went out to sing. Kari Wuhrer was an American model, performer and actress. She began her acting career at Wooster school when she was 13 years old. She was born in Brookfield Connecticut on April 28, she was raised there. Kari was born in Connecticut's Brookfield on the 28th of April, 1967. Kari was born into a family with four children. As teenager, she was a performer in clubs, taking a break from home. Kari, who was then thirteen years old, was enrolled at the Wooster School and Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She also attended drama classes at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with a drama teacher who was known as Uta. Kari began her journey into acting at 13, and she got her big break in 1987, when she was featured on MTV Remote Control.
