Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa is a former leading singer for the metalcore band from Canada, The Agonist. She currently sings for the Swedish Metal band melodic Death Arch Enemy. Alissa (born the 31st of July 1985) White-Gluz is a Canadian singer-songwriter, well famous for her role as the former leader singer and the founding member of The Canadian metalcore band The Agonist, as well as the lead singer for Swedish the melodic Death Metal band Arch Enemy. The combination of singing and grunting (clean vocals) are part of her vocal style. While she is mainly associated with Metalcore and melodic death metal and metalcore, she has performed as singer-in-residence for various power metal, symphonic metal and deathcore groups, including Kamelot, Delain, Carnifex and Powerwolf in addition to performing live alongside Nightwish as well as Tarja Turunen. White-Gluz (2004-2014). In 2004 White-Gluz along with her fellow band members Danny Marino, Chris Kells together formed the band The Agonist from Montreal, Quebec. She released three albums with The Agonist as the lead vocalist.White-Gluz has left the Agonist in the spring of 2014 after she was offered the role as vocalist for Arch Enemy.
